Welcome to the website for the Kent Joint Policy and Planning Board (Housing) - also known as JPPB
The Kent Joint Policy and Planning Board for Housing is a strategic partnership between health, housing and social care. The Board incorporates representation from all 12 Kent local housing authorities, Kent Supporting People, Kent and Medway Primary Care Trust, Kent County Council Families and Social Care,Kent Prisons, Kent Drug and Alcohol Action Team, Kent Probation, Kent Youth Offending Services, and Catch 22 16 plus.
The JPPB provides the forum where strategic issues requiring joint working between health, housing and social care, can be raised and measures to address them, developed.
A Local Authority Head of Housing chairs the Board and the current Chair of the JPPB is John Littlemore, Head of Housing and Community Services, Maidstone Borough Council.
A Joint Planning Manager is employed by the JPPB to manage the partnership:
